I’m in KY with Sam, aka my baby. He’s doctoring horses; and I’m writing from the hotel. It was Friday morning when he decided to take me with him on this two-week stint, and later that day when he decided to leave at 3-4:00 AM the next day! His decision brought on the reality of last-minute planning and packing, the drive in hurricane traffic, the walls of a hotel room, and the news that it was 49 degrees-cold in KY! Sam’s decision was rooted in love, though.
And that, my dear friends, is when you got my post, “When your partner offers something in love, resist the temptation to find it lacking. Instead, accept it graciously. And watch it grow.”
It’s Monday, and now clear to me that the thing I most needed was a break from my routine, fresh eyes to see the big picture, and time away from the daily “housekeeping” of my life as I know it.
I’m feeling very grateful for my baby and God’s grace! He knows I’m doing my best. And, guess what, He knows you are, too. Trust those nudges that make your best better!
