Don’t love people because they’re lovable. Love them because you are love; and that’s what love does!

Likewise, don’t do a good job to get a paycheck. Do a good job because that’s what love does. Don’t smile to cheer somebody up. Smile because that’s what love does. Don’t tell the truth because you’re afraid of getting caught in a lie. Do it because that‘s what love does.

Sweep the floor, pay the bill, exercise, wash your face, give somebody a cup of water … because that’s what love does.
