Being a mom is clearly one of the most sacred privileges we have. And I bypassed it, mostly because of the enormity of the responsibility. It’s commensurate with the privilege.
Here’s my mom. I watched her with six children, giving all she had to give. It was enough. Because love is.
I dedicated my first book (Hampton Roads, 2002) to her and my dad, “With as much love as a heart can hold.”
I’m grateful for my mom. And I’m grateful that I keep learning to love her better.
My heart may not hold MORE love, but the love it holds is growing in purity.
Yours is, too. Let that be enough.
Happy Mother’s Day to you and yours!
With a grateful heart,
