We don’t have to live in fear. But we have to face what we’re afraid of. And when we do, we realize that we are bigger than what scares us.
But, what exactly are we afraid of? What is it that we have to face? The mother of all my fears is that I’m not enough. So, when I invalidate that fear, there is nothing left to scare me. When I’m not afraid of falling short, I am not afraid of anything. I am free.
It has become progressively clear to me that being free, or authentic, is everything. And I can only be authentic when I trust and love who I am. And that is as simple as knowing who I actually am. But simple doesn’t mean easy. To look honestly at all the layers of who we are, and bring them into our consciousness, is the work of a lifetime. It is also our only job. To be authentic is to align with goodness and be love. And that, is to live the ultimate life as love made manifest in a human being.
Love smiles on you.
