Our resiliency amazes me. And since bringing my mom home to live with us, I’ve had more opportunities to be amazed. No matter how spent I feel in any given moment, I bounce back.
And it requires very little effort. I must simply breathe, breathe in love and breathe out fear. I do it out loud, meaning that I raise my arms like wings and take a deep breath. My mom is now accustom to it. She understands and even mimics me.
When I do this, I am filled with deep knowing that everything is as it’s intended to be.
I am at peace. I am thankful. And I am love. As are you. And when you’re not sure, I hope you’ll join me in a deep breath to recenter. And let’s not judge our self for needing a deep breath; let’s be grateful for the growth that requires it!
We can catch a second wind every time we need one. We can grow in strength and grace. We can thrive!
In love,
