We really do have a way of complicating love. We focus on getting the love we want from somebody else, as though they get to decide if we’re lovable. And driven, often by guilt or obligation, we do our best to love others, or at least project an image of being a good person.
But all we have to do is learn to love our self. And that is as simple as taking the time to truly know who we are. Simple is not easy, though. It is the work of a lifetime. It is the journey of a lifetime, the journey of oneness.
And we are taking it. Let’s take it consciously, one step at a time, and bring all the steps together in love. To know you, is to know others. To love you, is to love others.
Love smiles on you,
