Just yesterday, I found myself trying to balance aspirations and happiness. With a sheepish grin, I remembered that happiness is my aspiration, my only aspiration.
To aspire to wealth or accomplishment apart from true happiness is to follow a dead-end. And the only way to reach happiness is to be true to our self, or the love written on our heart.
When we practice love, we can watch the flow of everything good, everything we could possibly need or want, or aspire to. And when we are in tune with the flow, we are less distracted by the ego’s hunger for “more.” We recognize it for what it is.
If getting rich or famous, or even saving the world, is part of our aligning with love, we will manifest the steps. We will see the steps, maybe one at a time, but we will see them.
Our only purpose is to be happy. Everything good is a byproduct of that. And we need not balance happiness with the byproducts of happiness. We need only receive them.
Love smiles on you,
