And I’m thinking about the love. Regardless of religion, there is no taking the Christ out of Christmas. And I think we can all agree that Christ demonstrated love.
“Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone,” he said. That’s the kind of love we need in today’s world. It’s the only kind of love; but sometimes we forget, and pass off something less. We’re only human; and I want to believe we’re doing the best we can.
But Christmas is a shining example of what happens when we all get on the same team. Somehow, we’re a little more understanding, forgiving, empathetic … loving. So, here’s to Christmas! Here’s to you, to us … believing and acting in love, as love.
