Happy Independence to the USA and YOU …

Happy Independence Day to you, my beautiful friends. In love, we are, indeed, Happy and Free. But to live in love, as love, is the work of a lifetime. Love is what we’re made of. To manifest that truth, though, we must feel it and own it. We must consciously practice connecting with, and choosing to align with, our essence. As we do, we feel our magnificence, love’s magnificence. We live it, one step at a time. We deviate less often and for shorter stints. And we smile through the consequences, because we own the truth.

What are you saying, feeling, living?

Even when nobody else hears what we say, we hear it. We FEEL it; and so do others. By consciously choosing our thoughts, we also choose our silent chatter and how we feel.

When we allow our unconscious minds to choose what we feel, we allow unconscious programming and bias to choose how we live. Let’s bring the unconscious into our consciousness, so we can delete false programming and replace it with the truth.… More

Dear Friends … An attitude of heart and mind

I’m still on vacation and reminded that it’s an attitude, an attitude we can choose. I’ve practiced it for years–consciously choosing to just be. I’m getting better at it. And a vacation leaves no excuses. There is no to-do list. Just the freedom to choose, to be.

A whole world of options can make it difficult to choose. That’s why we so often resort to, “I should.” Instead, let’s take the time to dig deep within and recover our yearning. Let’s reclaim our deepest desires. And let’s satisfy those.

Let Freedom Reign …

As we pause to celebrate our nation’s freedom, it’s apparent that we as individuals determine its value to us.

We can — and must, if we are to be free — declare individual freedom; and we can do it on the same grounds:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

What are you doing with liberty? Perhaps you’ll join me in a fresh resolve to live your life unimpeded by what others would dictate. True happiness comes as a byproduct of doing that … and therein lies the glory of freedom.

John Adams wrote to his wife after Congress approved the Declaration of Independence: “It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.”

So, let the fireworks begin — over and over again — until we no longer have to be reminded to live free!… More
