Dear Friends: Lose Your Fear of What’s Inside
We don’t have to live in fear. But we have to face what we’re afraid of. And when we do, we realize that we are bigger than what scares us.
But, what exactly are we afraid of? What is it that we have to face? The mother of all my fears is that I’m not enough. So, when I invalidate that fear, there is nothing left to scare me. When I’m not afraid of falling short, I am not afraid of anything. I am free.
It has become progressively clear to me that being free, or authentic, is everything. And I can only be authentic when I trust and love who I am. And that is as simple as knowing who I actually am. But simple doesn’t mean easy. To look honestly at all the layers of who we are, and bring them into our consciousness, is the work of a lifetime. It is also our only job. To be authentic is to align with goodness and be love. And that, is to live the ultimate life as love made manifest in a human being.

Naked, the only way to love yourself
The relationship you want can only be had through hard work on yourself … and that’s the work we do our best to avoid. It’s much easier to shell out money. Americans spend 35 billion dollars a year on unproven diet products because they find it too difficult to eat less.

We’ve defined ourselves by appearance, grades, athletic ability, good behavior or rebellion as far back as we can remember. You’re not alone if you’re thinking, “Who would I be without all that?” Most of us don’t know.
Strip away what can be quantified, seen or touched, and you have your authentic self. You have that for which you want to be known and loved.
Yes, you want somebody to love every little toe and sweet spot, but you also want them to love what you’re afraid to show and talk about. You want them to know that you were the last one picked for softball, that you had a speech impediment until you were 9 and that kids used to call you chubby knees.… More

~ Have fewer automobile accidents on their way to work than men who omit the morning kiss.
~ Miss less work because of sickness than the non-kissers.
~ Earn from 20 to 30 percent more money.
~ And live some five years longer than men who are stingy with their kisses.
