Love has no agenda …

We can be aware of our ego, without being distracted by it. We don’t have to offer the attention it craves. We don’t have to give it a voice or appendages.

The ego sees lack and gets scared and greedy. Love knows there’s enough for everybody. Love knows everybody can win.

And when we simply yield to love, instead of ego, we allow love to serve everybody’s highest good. Love can do that in any situation.

The goal of learning is to bring the unknown into the known. The mere act of embracing the unknown as the truth requires a degree of faith. When we limit ourselves to believing for the known — or what we have already proven to be true — we also limit our results to those we have experienced. While we can move beyond our own experience by learning from somebody else’s experience, we are still operating in the known — albeit it “unknown” or new to us.

So, is experience really the best teacher? It depends on what you want to learn. Is the past really the best predictor of the future? It is if you want to be able to predict the future. Expanding into the unknown means not being able to predict the future; but it also means ensuring that the future does not equal your past.

I embraced a belief as a little girl that “faith without works is dead.” And it has seemed to me a valid belief. I have spent my life wanting to do all that I knew to do, believing that then I could trust God to do his part. For the last several years I have tried to balance doing my part with letting go.… More

I’ve discovered that what we most want can’t be forced. We don’t snag it by working harder or smarter. We don’t extend our reach by connecting with the right person. It’s not about money– no matter how much we try to make it about money. There is nobody to blame. And there is no valid excuse for not having what we want.

And, we don’t have everything we want right now. We will always be discovering more of our boundless capacity for greatness.

But here, now, we can realize that it is ALL ours in love. We can feel the truth and the enormity of our essence. We can get our arms and our barely-tapped-into brains around the reality that we are love. And everything we could possibly want, everything that serves us, is part of love. We have access to the collective resources.

When we truly get this, we also get that we have an awful lot to look forward to. We are just beginning to fathom the universe, the power of our intentions, and the realms of time and space that we’ve created.

So, how do we claim “more” of what is already ours? Simply be being fearless. Fear is the only restraint we have.… More
