If you’re looking for a partner to spend the rest of your life with and frequently find yourself disenchanted, consider raising the standard. I know, somebody else might suggest you lower it. Somebody else might tell you that you’re being too picky. But you wouldn’t really expect that from me, right?
We like the idea of wowing somebody in a relationship. It feels good! There’s an inherent problem in wowing somebody, though. It’s disenchantment. If he’s stunned by your brillia…

Remember the Miracle You Are
There was a time in your life–if only for a moment–when you believed that anything could happen. Maybe since then, your dreams have changed. Maybe you’ve even lost sight of them altogether, but the dream isn’t dead. Because you’re not! Dream a new dream if you like; but make it the best one you have ever dreamed. Some might say to be content with what is, to be detached from the outcome, and just trust what comes. I agree! But don’t let that stop you from dreaming. Dream with the understanding that your reality will outshine your wildest dreams! And then let that reality begin in this moment. Let it begin with a thought, that inspires a feeling, that shifts to an attitude of faith, that provokes action, that gets real results. TFAR: Thought, Feeling, Action, Result.
Remember the miracle you are! And live a life full of miracles!… More

Love Yourself to a Healthy Weight: TIP SEVEN
Is weight standing between you and the relationship of your dreams? Reaching a healthy weight is part of loving yourself well.
TIP SEVEN: When you want more dinner–or another snack or another dessert–don’t say, “No.” Say, “Yes, if you still want it after you leisurely drink this glass of water.”
PRACTICE: Water is a gift you can give your body. Think of it as cleansing your temple–sometimes of cravings. And after a tall glass of refreshing water with the added benefit of the juice from half a lemon, you may find that you no longer want more food. You have to wear the excess food; but the water moves right through you.
You CAN do this! You can LOVE yourself to a healthy weight!
