How do we accept a partner unconditionally?
Unconditional acceptance is part of unconditional love … but extending it to an intimate partner is tough. What makes it possible, or helps to balance it is detachment. I can accept my partner, his (or her) traits, his behavior, his remarks unconditionally; and I can also detach myself from them, in the sense that I’m not disturbed by them. I trust him. I trust love. I’m not afraid he’s going to make a mistake and mess up my life.

Spiritual truth can only be owned in the process of seeking it …
For centuries, some members of society have evolved beyond their needs for survival and belonging to self-actualization, or self-love. Why isn’t THAT evolution passed on genetically, at least to the seed of the evolved few? It’s not physical evolution; it’s not even emotional. It’s spiritual! And spiritual truth can ONLY be personalized in the process of seeking it. Each man/woman must seek it and find it for himself, in the face of temptation. Each is intended to do precisely that, which helps us conclude that the perception of evil presents us with the privilege of choice.
