If we buy dinner in hopes of sex, or do the laundry in hopes of marriage, we’ll be disappointed. Even if we get what we want, it won’t last–unless we continue to buy dinner or do the laundry. And that makes for an angry and resentful life.
Often, when we’re disappointed in our results–or our life–we can revisit our motivation to see what went wrong.
Love is always the right reason to act! And it doesn’t much matter what we do, if we do it in love! Nor does it matter what the result is!
